Piano & Keyboard

Piano and keyboard lessons are available from complete beginner through to Grade 5 (ABRSM or Trinity). 🎓Exam Support

GCSEs and A-Levels Tutoring

Emily has extensive experience as a secondary school music teacher, GCSE examiner for OCR and specialist brass examiner for MTB. She offers targeted support for GCSE and A-level students, including help with performance and composition coursework, and structured preparation for the listening examination. Sessions can be one-to-one or in small groups.

🎵All Ages & Abilities

Music Theory

Music theory is woven into every instrumental lesson, but there are huge benefits to studying it as a standalone subject. Theory classes are usually taught in small groups of mixed ages and abilities, making them sociable, relaxed and great value. A strong understanding of theory underpins progress on any instrument and is essential for GCSE and A-level success.

🎶Group Lessons

Recorder

The recorder is a brilliant gateway instrument that builds breath control, reading skills and musicianship: skills that transfer seamlessly to other disciplines in the future. Recorder is learned in small groups, making it excellent value for a few friends to enjoy together.
